Centro Inox is a non-profit association, founded in Italy in 1962, that deals with the study and the development of stainless steels applications.

In particular, Centro Inox takes care of the overall development of all kinds of stainless steels and of all kinds of products: flat products (sheets, strips, etc..) and long products (bars, wire, sections and tubes).

Furthermore Centro Inox provides advice, with data and all the necessary information, on the selection of suitable materials and on the technology of processing and installing stainless steels in every specific application.

The technical publications of Centro Inox offer continuous updating about all issues concerning stainless steels in Italy and in other countries.

Centro Inox is member of Euro Inox (European stainless steel development association) and of ISSF (International Stainless Steel Forum).

The main activities of Centro Inox are:

• Maintaining and consolidating the industry sectors where stainless steel is already widely employed (chemical industry, household articles etc.)
• Searching for new applications of stainless steel, also combined with materials of traditional type (i.e. in building, transport etc.)
